About This Project
Casuarina Rd is a modern multi-family project in Delray Beach, completed in 2021. The scope reflects the East Delray market's demand for high-quality attached product: a development where the multi-family configuration is a deliberate strategy rather than a compromise, delivered at a design and finish standard that stands up to the scrutiny of buyers who are comparing against single-family custom homes in the same submarket. The modern design vocabulary — clean lines, a restrained material palette, open floor plans — was selected to align with where the neighborhood is heading, not just where it is today.
SouthShore managed the full construction scope — permitting, site work, foundation, framing, MEP systems, and finish work — under the direct oversight of the firm's principal. The construction documents were developed in coordination with the project architect, with SouthShore providing input on constructability and budget at each design milestone. Multi-family work at this quality level requires disciplined pre-construction planning: party wall fire separation, individual mechanical systems, separate metering, and unit boundaries that have to be defined before permitting, not discovered during construction.
