About This Project
Les Jardin is a modern coastal estate in a gated Boca Raton community, completed in 2024. The scope of this project reflects the expectations of the Boca Raton luxury market: a full-build custom home with formal and informal living zones, multiple bedroom suites with distinct bath configurations, a dedicated dining room, a summer kitchen connecting indoor and outdoor living, and a cabana bath serving the pool area. Every finish decision was made to perform in the South Florida environment while meeting the design standard a home at this price point requires.
The interior program at Les Jardin was organized around a central family room and kitchen that opens to outdoor living, with a formal dining room and foyer designed to handle the scale of the structure. The primary suite was treated as a private wing with its own bath suite. Secondary bedrooms include a Jack and Jill bath configuration — a common feature in Boca Raton family homes where accommodating extended family and guests without sacrificing privacy matters. The summer kitchen and outdoor cabana bath complete the indoor-outdoor sequence that Boca buyers expect at this tier.
Building in Boca Raton's gated communities means navigating both the city permitting process and the HOA's architectural review board. SouthShore initiated the ARB submission in parallel with permit preparation, using the same set of construction documents to satisfy both processes simultaneously. The review timelines in Boca's gated communities run 4 to 8 weeks depending on the community and the scope of review; coordinating that against the permitting clock requires experience and proactive scheduling. Les Jardin came out of pre-construction on time as a result.
